Nancy Frieder is uniquely qualified not only to help people improve their college application essays, but also their verbal scores on the college admissions tests. She has:
- a writer/editor background;
- a degree from the University of Missouri’s prestigious School of Journalism;
- an affiliation with Montgomery County (Maryland) Public Schools, where she taught the SAT Preparation class; and
- experience as a mother who has successfully guided her own daughter, and now others, through this process.
Nancy will support your student in learning:
- the kinds of essay questions colleges ask;
- how to write a college application essay to fulfill the purpose behind the writing prompt;
- specific, predictable grammar hurdles the College Board sets up on the admissions tests, and how to jump each one with confidence; and
- SAT strategies.
Nancy fits her appointment hours into the student’s busy schedule. She will work one-on-one in the comfort of your home, through a secure internet connection, or at her home office in Gaithersburg.
